As a Nursing Care Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing essential nursing care and support to residents in accordance with Arcare's Values.
Your responsibilities will involve:
- Providing personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as showering, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
- Administering medications as prescribed by the physician and ensuring proper documentation of medication records.
- Observing and recording residents' vital signs, symptoms, and any changes in their health condition.
- Providing basic wound care and dressing changes for residents with minor wounds.
- Conducting health assessments and reporting any changes in residents' health to the supervising RN or healthcare team.
Requirements
- Current AHPRA Registration.
- Knowledge of Aged Care accreditation standards.
- Adaptable, passionate, and willing to learn.
- Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
- Effective communication abilities.
