About the Role

Hastings Deering (Australia) Ltd is on the hunt for a Trade Support Specialist to join our award-winning team in Alice Springs. This is a Permanent Monday to Friday role working 38 hours per week.

As a Trade Support Specialist, you will assist trades personnel with mechanical works, ensuring compliance of safety procedures and high-level quality & contamination control. You will also be responsible for operating an Overhead Gantry Crane and Forklift, as well as general yard cleaning & wash bay duties.

We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate and scheduled increases thanks to our newly negotiated EA. Our estimated salary for this role is $45-$55 per hour, depending on experience.
  • 24.5% NT area allowance on top of your base rate, resulting in an estimated total hourly rate of $56-$67 per hour.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a similar role (desirable but not essential).
  • Excellent communication skills and exceptional level of customer focus.
  • Overhead Crane and Forklift license is desirable but not essential.
  • Great time management skills.
  • The ability to work within a team and unsupervised.
  • Maintain a high level of workplace health and safety standards.
