Network Risk Assurance Officer

We're seeking an experienced professional to lead our Network Risk and Assurance team. As a key stakeholder, you'll be responsible for overseeing network safety and compliance across various networks.
Your primary objective will be to ensure that our networks meet the required safety standards and regulations. This involves collaborating with internal stakeholders, industry bodies, and regulatory agencies to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
You'll provide support to key stakeholders on interpreting and implementing regulatory requirements.
Respond to Energy Safe Victoria's regulatory compliance information requests.
Influence proposed changes to electricity safety legislation and regulations.
Communicate electricity safety legislation changes to internal stakeholders.
Support Network Availability Officers and Duty Officers in managing network safety incidents.
Investigate serious network safety incidents and manage associated correspondence.
Engage with ESV on incident reporting matters.
Represent our organization on electrical safety industry forums.
Foster positive relationships with electrical safety regulators.
To succeed in this role, you'll need relevant electrical or technical certification, extensive industry experience, and strong analytical skills.
