About a precision engineering apprenticeship, you will learn to master crafting, assembling and maintaining mechanical components. You'll develop skills needed for fabricating and repairing parts with precision.

Key responsibilities:

  • Operate manual machine tools, including milling, grinding, and turning.
  • Disassemble and assemble equipment.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance of existing equipment.
  • Solve problems and work with plant and water pipelines.
  • Comply with occupational health and safety policies.

Requirements:

  • Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
  • Must commit to a full-time 4-year apprenticeship.
  • A pre-apprenticeship Certificate II is preferred but not essential.
  • Attend accredited RTO/TAFE training (paid by employer).
  • A driver's license and car are ideal.
  • Reside in the Bass Coast or South Gippsland region.
