About the role

">Job Summary:

This is a high-level advisory position that provides expert advice to professional and operational leads, relevant service managers, and other stakeholders on X-ray Operator services and standards of practice.

The successful candidate will have advanced knowledge, expertise, and skill in plain film radiography and service delivery in various settings. They will be able to provide professional supervision, training, and performance management to clinical and non-clinical staff.

Key responsibilities include developing supervision, training, and assessment programs to enhance the quality and safety of X-ray Operator services delivered across the region.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, ability to lead and engage staff, and flexibly deliver/facilitate training and assessment in various modes/formats.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Be an Endorsed Radiographer or work towards becoming an Endorsed Radiographer (i.e., holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment).
  • Vaccinated against certain vaccine-preventable diseases as outlined in the Health Employment Directive.
