We're seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic educator to join our casual pool team at the YMCA Ballarat. As an early childhood educator, you'll have the opportunity to work with young children in various kindergarten settings, fostering their development and creating engaging learning experiences.

**Your Role**

You'll be responsible for stepping into various kindergarten settings, offering support wherever needed. This may include:

  • Creating engaging learning experiences that nurture children's curiosity and development
  • Building meaningful relationships with children and families to foster a warm and inclusive environment
  • Collaborating with a passionate team of educators who encourage creativity and teamwork

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or working towards it)
  • VIT registration as an ECT (if applicable)
  • A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), and Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF) guidelines
  • The ability to create and deliver engaging, child-centred learning activities
  • A valid Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC), current First Aid certification, and a Police Check (or willingness to obtain them)
