About the Role
The Central Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a skilled and dedicated Technical Officer to join its Intensive Care Research team.
This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of groundbreaking research that bridges the fields of intensive care, gastroenterology, and endocrinology. As a valued member of the Intensive Care Unit's research team within Critical Care & Perioperative Services, you will collaborate with a passionate, multidisciplinary team to uphold high standards of research and clinical collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting collaborative studies aimed at enhancing clinical outcomes in critically ill patients
- Working closely with the Director of Research, Research Fellow, and Clinical Research Nurse Unit Manager
- Collaborating with a passionate, multidisciplinary team to uphold high standards of research and clinical collaboration
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Undergraduate Science degree (BSc or BHSc)
- Research Skills: Proven ability to conduct hypothesis-driven research independently, with strong data acquisition and analysis skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Personal Attributes: Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritising multiple tasks while adhering to ethical and clinical guidelines for working with critically ill patients
- Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication skills with the ability to relate tactfully to a diverse range of stakeholders, including hospital staff, patients, families, and volunteers
