About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Team Leader to join our team at Kincare, a leading provider of in-home care services to the elderly in Perth and regional areas. As a Team Leader, you will play a critical role in supporting and developing a team of passionate community workers, providing coaching, ongoing support, and direction to achieve exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide coaching and support to a geographically dispersed team of community workers.
  • Conduct interviews and inductions for new care workers, manage team and individual performance, and drive safety initiatives.
  • Manage payroll and other administrative tasks, ensuring compliance targets are met and handling customer escalations with support from the management team.
  • Work collaboratively with the management team to achieve business objectives and improve customer satisfaction.

About You:

  • Proven team leadership experience in community, call centre, retail, hospitality, or similar industries.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships, communicate with empathy, and maintain professional boundaries with your team.
  • Previous experience in the Community/Aged Care industry is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Exceptional communication and time management skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong passion for compliance and achieving customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated experience with coaching, having difficult conversations, and performance managing frontline teams.
  • Stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant qualifications (or equivalent experience) in Leadership and Training and Assessment are desirable.
