Junior Designer

We are seeking a passionate and creative Junior Designer to join our team at KIVARI, a Sydney-based fashion brand.

The successful candidate will be responsible for translating seasonal concepts into on-brand, commercially minded designs.

  • Create initial hand sketches and detailed technical drawings using Adobe Illustrator.
  • Designing commercial capsules within the seasonal ranges with sustainable practices.
  • Support the team throughout the design and development process, from initial sketches to final samples.
  • Research trends, fabrics, and techniques to inspire new collections and stay ahead in the market.
  • Prepare mood boards, CADs, spec sheets, and presentation materials that capture KIVARI's unique aesthetic.
  • Help coordinate samples, fittings, and internal reviews to ensure every piece meets our high standards for quality and fit.

Requirements include a qualification in Fashion Design or a related field, a genuine passion for fashion, storytelling, and design, denim experience preferred, strong sketching or CAD ability and an eye for detail, willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow in a fast-paced environment, organised, proactive, and keen to contribute fresh ideas, and a collaborative spirit with the confidence to work independently when needed.
