Body Repair Assembly Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Body Repair Assembly Technician to join our team in Oakleigh. As a Body Repair Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assisting technicians and the wider team to complete structural and cosmetic repairs on Tesla vehicles in accordance with documented procedures.

You will reassemble vehicle panels to as-new condition, test and evaluate reassembly for safety and operability, and clean and polish vehicles after repairs. A key part of this role is working closely with colleagues to achieve quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years experience in automotive labouring or similar, excellent attitude and communication skills, a reliable and innovative approach, and a willingness to learn. Basic computer literacy is also required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Technicians and wider team to complete structural and cosmetic repairs on Tesla vehicles
  • Reassemble vehicle panels to as-new condition
  • Test and evaluate reassembly for safety and operability
  • Clean and polish vehicles after repairs
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 1+ years experience in automotive labouring or similar
