Job Role: Concrete Construction Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Concrete Construction Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for assembling formwork, installing and securing it, placing reinforcement materials, pouring and leveling concrete, and dismantling formwork once the concrete has cured.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assemble formwork using timber, plywood, steel or prefabricated formwork systems.

- Install and secure formwork ensuring it is level, plumb and correctly aligned.

- Place reinforcement materials such as rebar and mesh inside formwork as required.

- Pour, spread and level concrete into formwork ensuring proper compaction and finish.

- Strip and dismantle formwork once concrete has cured ensuring materials are properly stored or disposed of.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Formworker in civil construction.

- Skilled in using carpentry tools, hand tools and power tools.

- Strong understanding of concrete pouring and reinforcement techniques.

- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.

- Awareness of workplace safety and compliance with industry regulations.
