We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team in Padstow, NSW. As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our industrial equipment and facilities.

You will work closely with our production, maintenance, research & development, and planning/scheduling teams to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with production schedules and that equipment is functioning properly.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of maintenance systems and processes, as well as experience with MEX software and Microsoft Excel. You will also have strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as sound project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address breakdowns and plan periodic and preventative maintenance activities in alignment with the Maintenance Management Plan
  • Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs utilizing MEX software
  • Generate work orders and allocate tasks to maintenance staff or subcontractors
  • Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and disruptions to operations
  • Maintain precise records of maintenance activities and assess equipment performance, identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Identify, assess, prioritize, and control risks to health & safety
