This role is a key business partner who will provide high quality project support to Project Managers in order to improve project management and financial tracking.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring actuals and accurate forecasting to ensure correct revenue position, as well as reviewing forecast cost at completion and variance to baseline cost of a portfolio of projects.

  • Support Project Managers with monitoring of actuals and accurate forecasting to ensure correct revenue position.
  • Review forecast cost at completion and variance to baseline cost of a portfolio of projects, discussing material changes with Project Managers and escalating to Commercial team as required.
Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Participating in project related meetings around the status of project financials, articulating risks and opportunities.
  • Driving tactical responses to minimize working capital requirements.
  • Providing project accounting support to operations through the lifecycle of the project.
  • Providing advice regarding project setup process, including best for project WBS, contract line configuration, variation management.
  • Driving efficiency and process improvement through effective utilisation of systems.
  • Management of Client billing.
