About the Team

YMCA Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) provides engaging, safe, and enjoyable care for children before and after school. Our program allows children to explore activities such as cooking, sports, music, arts, and dance.

With over 40 years of experience in childcare, YMCA Brisbane is dedicated to nurturing children's growth in a supportive environment.

We are currently seeking OSHC Educators on a casual basis to contribute to our Springfield Lakes OSHC service.

About the Service

YMCA Springfield Lakes OSHC operates on school grounds and has been serving the community for a decade. We are licensed to accommodate 150 children, offering Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care.

Our service provides a welcoming atmosphere with a nutritious menu that reflects our community's values.

We offer a variety of planned and spontaneous activities for children, encouraging educators to share their unique skills and experiences.

About the Role

As an OSHC Educator, you will be responsible for the well-being of children during care hours. You will facilitate engaging and educational activities such as science experiments, outdoor games, and creative arts.

Are You a Good Fit?

  • You are studying or have completed a qualification in children's services or a related field
  • You possess a great sense of fun and creativity
  • You hold or are willing to obtain a current First Aid and CPR certification
  • You have a Positive Notice Blue Card or are willing to acquire one
