Key Responsibilities for a Commercial Construction Finishing Foreman

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality finishes on commercial construction projects. This individual is responsible for overseeing all finishing trades, including drywall, paint, flooring, and millwork, to guarantee that work is completed to specifications and schedules.

Leadership Skills:

  • Manage and motivate a team of subcontractors, suppliers, and laborers to ensure efficient collaboration.
  • Conduct regular quality control inspections and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers and other stakeholders to provide updates on progress and resolve issues.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Finishing Foreman in commercial construction.
  • Strong leadership skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality finishes on time.
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
