Job Title: Energy Lawyer

We are seeking a seasoned energy lawyer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals to accelerate their careers within wonderful teams, with a high probability of extension or permanent conversion.

  • Draft and negotiate a range of general commercial contracts and documents.
  • Advising on energy regulation (Natural Gas/Electricity Law and Rules, legislation).
  • Handle energy-related procurement, claims and disputes matters.
  • Handle regulator investigations (ESC, AER, EPA, ESV, WorkSafe).

This role requires:

  • 5+ years minimum PQE.
  • Experience in the energy, construction or infrastructure industries highly regarded.
  • Extensive experience in general commercial contracting and related matters.
  • Ability to provide timely advice on a range of new and diverse matters.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally within a team and liaise with various internal stakeholders.
