Job Summary

This is a unique opportunity to work as an administrative support officer in the Medical Workforce Support Unit. The successful candidate will provide high-quality support and coordination to the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including sourcing and engagement of locum medical officers and recruitment of doctors in training.
  • Assist with data entry and management of databases used within the Medical Workforce area.
  • Perform tasks on a day-to-day basis in the absence of decision makers.
Requirements
  • High level of proficiency in reception and administrative skills, keyboard and Microsoft Office skills appropriate to the position.
  • Problem solving skills and ability to work autonomously.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels within a large organisation.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and be an effective team member.
  • Knowledge of or ability to acquire knowledge of Queensland Health Recruitment Policy, Medical Officer terms and conditions, corporate policy and legislative requirements.
