Job Description

This role is responsible for managing media issues and public affairs projects, as well as developing and implementing communication, media, or marketing plans.

The successful candidate will be expected to liaise with government departments, media representatives, and QPS employees to disseminate information effectively.

Key responsibilities include leading small teams, preparing publications, and providing policy direction and advice on daily media and public affairs issues to subordinate staff.

  • Developing and implementing communication, media, or marketing plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants should possess formal qualifications in journalism and public affairs. Additionally, experience in media and public affairs, particularly in community safety portfolios, is highly regarded.

A strong understanding of communication strategies and the ability to develop and implement effective plans is essential for success in this position.
