We are seeking a highly qualified Physics Teacher to join our Science Faculty.

Job Description

This is a full-time contract position to cover a staff member on leave.

The successful applicant will possess:

  • A comprehensive understanding of teaching principles and methods.
  • Expertise in teaching Physics, with a focus on delivering engaging lessons.
  • Excellent technological literacy, including the ability to effectively utilize educational software and hardware.
  • A strong commitment to collaborative working, with the ability to work effectively within a high-performing school culture.
  • Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (or eligibility to apply).

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
  • Experience in teaching Physics, preferably in a secondary school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A willingness to participate in ongoing professional development.
