The RoleAs a Member Services Officer, you will be the face of our business, providing exceptional customer service and sales support to our members, casual users, and potential new customers. Your primary responsibility will be to acquire new members and deliver first-class customer service, ensuring it aligns with our Mission, Vision, and Values.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to all customers, both in person and over the phone, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
- Sales and Prospecting: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, representing the facility and Genesis in a positive and professional manner.
- Cash Handling and POS Systems: Apply sound cash handling principles and utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently.
- Program Promotion: Promote the centre's services and programs to customers, accepting bookings and enrolments.
- Team Goals and Targets: Work towards individual and team goals and targets, as set by the Assistant Club Manager and Club Manager.
- Passion for Fitness: Demonstrate a genuine passion for health and fitness.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in a similar position or related fields, such as sales, customer service, or retail.
- Certifications: Hold current First Aid & CPR Certification and a Working With Children Check (or equivalent) & National Police Check.
