Job Description

This full-time permanent position requires a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and detailing machinery and parts using AutoCAD and 3D Modelling software, as well as commissioning automation wood manufacturing.

Responsibilities
  1. Design and detailing of machinery and parts using AutoCAD and 3D Modelling software
  2. Commissioning Automation wood Manufacturing
  3. Procurement of materials and parts for engineering projects
  4. Machine construction & testing in Somersby workshop
  5. Factory automation design for plant upgrades, optimisation and new projects

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience in 2D or 3D CAD drafting, including ability to produce manufacturing drawings. You will also need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently either independently or as part of a team.
