Design Innovator

We're seeking a talented Mechanical Designer to join our team of engineers in delivering Engineering and Capital Projects. As a key contributor, you will play a crucial role in assisting project requirements across our network of Lime and Limestone Plants across the Asia Pacific region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project teams to prepare preliminary general arrangements, 2D and 3D layouts, and process flow diagrams for option analysis and feasibility studies.
  • Support EPC teams, Capital Projects Managers, and other cross-functional groups by developing scope of work documents through site visits and measurements.
  • Assist sites with designs and basic drafting (new and updates) for site-related projects where EPC is not involved.
  • Develop Class 5-4 cost estimates and documentation support on Capital Projects for EPC and Operations.
  • Streamline historical document migration into the engineering document management system.
  • Review drawings supplied by external consultants with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams.
  • Provide project commissioning support and commissioning QC support as required.

Requirements:

  1. Proven years of engineering experience in a multi-disciplinary approach within an industrial environment, preferably in the lime, cement, mining, or other bulk material industry.
  2. Formal education with a Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical) is preferred.
  3. Experience in using 3D rendering software such as Revit, Inventor, AutoCAD, Recap, and Navisworks, combined with project cost estimating skills, is highly desirable.
