About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our housekeeping team at SwanCare. As a key member of our care centre team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents live in a clean and well-maintained environment.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality housekeeping services, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Assist with the preparation of vacant rooms for new resident admissions, ensuring a seamless transition.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to resident and customer needs with sensitivity and professionalism.
  • Monitor the safe use of chemicals and perform regular operational checks to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensure efficient tracking and labelling of resident clothing and lost property.
  • Adhere to infection control standards and WHS requirements, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff.

Key Role Requirements
  • Working rights within Australia.
  • National Police Clearance or NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Current Influenza Statement and Covid 19 Vaccinations (highly desirable).
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment.
