About the Role

We're actively recruiting skilled diesel technicians to fill our current openings. Successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring our fleet of heavy vehicles operates optimally.

  • Conduct thorough mechanical assessments and identify areas requiring maintenance or repairs
  • Service and maintain vehicles, trailers, and dollies in line with industry standards
  • Repair or replace brake systems, suspension components, steering systems, and major engine parts
  • Perform welding and grinding tasks on chassis and comb rails of flat-top trailers
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime
  • Order and install replacement parts according to manufacturer specifications and quality requirements
  • Develop and update preventative maintenance schedules
  • Maintain accurate service and repair records in accordance with company procedures
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and promote a safe working environment
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a diesel mechanic working on heavy vehicles and trailers
  • Australian-recognised Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic Trade Qualification
  • Proven experience working on MACK and Kenworth trucks
  • Full Australian work rights (no restrictions)
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Strong understanding of safe work practices
  • Physically fit and comfortable performing manual tasks
  • Reliable, motivated, and a collaborative team player
