We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Guest Service Agent to join our team at Hotel Indigo in Potts Point. This role plays a key part in delivering an exceptional guest experience, aligning with our values of Passion, Accountability, Integrity, and Respect.
Job Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Guest Service Agent to provide a personalized and memorable experience for our guests. The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, working collaboratively with the team to ensure seamless operations, and contributing to the success of our hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience through attentive and professional service, ensuring our values of Passion, Accountability, Integrity, and Respect are upheld.
- Process payments and follow cash handling procedures while promoting upsell opportunities such as late checkout, room upgrades, and minibar items.
- Provide a warm and welcoming arrival experience by checking in guests, managing their requests, and maintaining the front desk to high standards.
- Collaborate with your colleagues to ensure smooth operations, assist during high-activity periods, and contribute creative ideas to enhance the guest experience.
- Stay informed about local attractions, events, and places to visit in Potts Point and Sydney to share with guests.
- Adhere to Company Policies by ensuring compliance with operational procedures, including cash handling, guest confidentiality, and lost property. Participate in training and development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Prior hotel or customer service experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with Infor PMS or similar Hotel Property Management Systems is a plus.
- A strong team player with excellent communication skills.
