About the Role

The company is seeking a Business Development Manager to spearhead its expansion efforts in the C&I solar energy sector across Victoria.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify new opportunities and acquire new business in the Victorian large scale commercial solar market.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive feasibilities and proposals outlining key financials against potential client energy profiles.
  • Develop a sound market strategy incorporating in-depth knowledge of the Australian commercial solar market, including competitor research and pricing strategies.
  • Liaise with clients, pre-sales engineering and project management teams during system design and delivery.

Requirements

  • A proven track record in sales, business development or account management ideally in solar or renewable energy.
  • Familiarity with commercial solar energy systems, technologies and regulatory requirements.
  • Clear and engaging communication skills, strong business acumen relating to energy usage and proposal/feasibility preparation.
