Job Description

We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our Community and Partnerships team. This is a unique opportunity to shape how we are seen and heard internally and externally.

The successful candidate will play a key role in creating compelling content for social media, website, video, and marketing collateral, as well as managing campaigns that build awareness and drive engagement.

This is a maternity leave role for 12 months.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing campaigns across digital, print, and merchandise platforms.
  • Create engaging content for various mediums, including social media, websites, and marketing materials.
  • Coordinate events and fundraising initiatives to connect with our community.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver impactful messaging.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in marketing, communications, or public relations, ideally in the not-for-profit sector.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro.
  • Proficiency in WordPress, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.
  • Experience in event coordination and fundraising.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • A collaborative mindset and leadership experience.
