About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Market Analyst to join our Commodities Global Markets team.

This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your analytical and problem-solving skills to drive business outcomes. You will be responsible for ensuring data quality, accuracy, and completeness across various financial markets.

As a Senior Financial Market Analyst, you will engage with stakeholders to understand their data requirements, identify potential issues, and develop solutions to improve data management processes.

You will have a deep understanding of financial services, including complex derivatives, and be able to interpret and analyze large datasets to ensure regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and be able to effectively communicate complex ideas to both peers and senior colleagues.

We offer a competitive salary package of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, as well as hybrid and flexible working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement robust controls to ensure data quality and accuracy
  • Analyze and interpret large datasets to inform business decisions
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes

Requirements

  • 3-6 years' experience in a finance or accounting role
  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance or Accounting or related domain
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Highly numerate with ability to critically analyze and interpret data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
