The Warehouse Logistics Specialist plays a vital role in our warehouse team, responsible for safely operating a forklift to move materials and products.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate a forklift to transport goods to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks efficiently.
- Perform routine pre and post inspections of the forklift to ensure it is in good working condition, adhering to safety protocols.
- Stack and store merchandise in designated areas using proper techniques to maximize space and reduce damage.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by tracking product locations and quantities through regular audits and reconciliation.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, and shipping orders as needed, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or similar environment, demonstrating expertise and adaptability.
- Valid forklift certification or license, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of safety guidelines and procedures for operating a forklift, prioritizing employee and asset safety.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining productivity and efficiency.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management, minimizing errors and discrepancies.
