Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality patient care that is centred around individuals' needs and preferences
  • Effectively coordinate and manage cancer clinical trial portfolios to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Provide expert nursing advice, education, and support to patients undergoing cancer clinical trials
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines for clinical trials
  • Establish and maintain accurate documentation of clinical trials, including patient recruitment, assessment, and planning of care
  • Conduct data management activities such as source data entry, clinical data extraction, and transcription of data to various databases
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Build strong relationships with patients, families, groups, and communities to provide comprehensive care
  • Support less experienced staff and maintain professional accountability and development in line with Nursing and Midwifery Board Australia's Standards of Practice
