Role Overview

The role of Health Centre Coordinator or Manager is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in remote Aboriginal communities.

This position will lead daily operations, support staff, and deliver frontline patient care as a Health Centre Coordinator. As a Health Centre Manager, you will oversee clinic services, manage budgets and workforce needs, and provide both clinical and operational leadership.

As a hands-on leader, you will be responsible for leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, culturally safe primary health care in the Kimberley region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily operations and support staff as a Health Centre Coordinator or Manager
  • Deliver frontline patient care and provide clinical leadership
  • Oversee clinic services, manage budgets and workforce needs as a Health Centre Manager
  • Provide operational leadership and support to multidisciplinary teams

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse or Aboriginal Health Practitioner (AHPRA)
  • Remote health or Aboriginal community-controlled service experience
  • Confidence in clinical care, team support, and operational leadership
  • Strong communication and cultural awareness skills
  • WA-recognised REC, ALS, or Immunisation Provider qualifications
