About the Role

Civeo Australia is seeking an experienced Assistant Village Manager to join our leadership team at a multi-site hub in Western Australia. This is a hands-on management role where you'll spend time in the field directly with your teams.

About You

We're looking for a seasoned FIFO Assistant Village Manager who can prioritize effectively and handle multiple competing requirements. You'll have highly developed management skills from years of industry experience and be an excellent communicator who can speak with ease to a diverse group of clients, visitors, and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage your own profit and loss and navigate the scope of a service contract
  • Be a safety champion with an in-depth understanding of remote site safety standards, especially HACCP
  • Delegate effectively, lead by example, and drive performance to achieve outcomes for our clients

Requirements
  • Village Management experience at various levels
  • Outstanding leadership experience with the ability to build a strong, stable team
  • Strong understanding of Profit and Loss, budgeting, costs controls, and rostering
  • Minimum 1-2 years of FIFO experience as an AVM or a highly experienced Department Team Leader from a Large 1000+ room site looking for a step up into an AVM role
  • Must possess a valid manual driver's license
  • Must possess a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
  • Ability to obtain a WA Approved Manager's license
  • Currently have or willing to obtain a clear National Police Clearance under 6 months old
  • Able to pass a medical and drug screen
  • Knowledge of rostering & time and attendance is essential
  • Able to train and develop your own team onsite
Skills
  • Strong computer literacy, able to pick up new systems quickly
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Comfortable with data and regular reporting
  • Excellent attention to detail across reporting and service delivery
  • Highly developed leadership skills and the ability to develop a high-performing team with a culture focused on proactive customer service
