About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Medical Service Coordinator to join our team in Gungahlin.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and referrers, providing exceptional customer service via phone and assisting with appointment bookings and general enquiries.
  • Manage patient referrals from our website and referring practitioners, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Prepare patients for their services by providing essential information, such as arrival times, appointment preparations, and cost estimates.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and facilitate pathology and previous imaging records to ensure a seamless patient experience.
About You
  • You possess excellent communication skills, demonstrating empathy and care when interacting with patients, referrers, and colleagues.
  • You are tech-savvy, able to work accurately across various systems, with experience in Radiology Information Systems or Customer Management Systems being a plus.
  • You thrive under pressure, adapting quickly to change and maintaining a high level of productivity in a fast-paced environment.
