About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious Accountant to join our team at Lawson Elliott, a growing boutique practice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality tax compliance and finance services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Completing tax returns and year-end accounts for various entities
  • Preparing management reports, cash flows, and budgets
  • Preparing business analytics, including financial ratios and benchmarking
  • Engaging closely with outsourced finance clients and assisting them with insights and system implementations
  • Liaising with government and regulatory bodies on behalf of clients

Requirements:

  • An accounting relevant tertiary degree
  • Currently undertaking CA/CPA or be looking to do so in the future
  • 18 + months relevant accounting experience
  • Experience with cloud accounting software
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to think outside the box
