**Overview of the Role**

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Financial Reporting Manager to lead our Financial Reporting, Tax & Performance function in Fund Operations division. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, distribution, tax and performance reporting for our clients.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills with responsibility for the performance of a high-performing team, both locally and in India. Key accountabilities include:

  • Contribute to the achievement of strategic business goals, ensuring delivery of performance measurement and FactSet attribution reporting to clients.
  • Independently own processes, deliver client outcomes, and partner with business sponsors on business initiatives to develop new products and services for clients.
  • Accountable for continuous improvement project work to improve service quality and drive efficiency through automation.
  • Manage and influence the commercial performance of operational teams to ensure efficiencies, effective cost management, and growth strategy for the Team.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Represent the firm in new client business processes, RFP, Due Diligence, and onboarding process.
  • Ensure tax reporting for all clients is completed accurately and within client Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Continually review processes to improve operational efficiency and implement controls to maintain a high standard of accuracy.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders across the business to provide insightful financial advice and support decision-making.
  • Manage and coach a high-performing financial reporting and performance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

**Requirements**

  • 10+ years of experience in a similar role and 5+ years of managerial experience.
  • Accounting qualification (CPA, CA) is preferable, otherwise a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or similar.
  • Comprehensive understanding of accounting standards and taxation affecting the managed funds industry.
  • Experience in driving initiatives focused on simplifying and standardising processes (e.g., through automation) to enhance efficiency and promote smarter working practices is desirable.

**What We Offer**

  • An estimated annual salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 depending on experience.
