At Grain of the Silo, we're seeking a talented Head Chef to join our culinary leadership team in Launceston. With its Australian Good Food Guide Chefs Hat, our restaurant is renowned for its commitment to culinary excellence and showcasing local produce.

We're looking for an experienced chef who shares our passion for delivering outstanding guest service and fostering a strong sense of community connection. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for leading by example, overseeing the delivery of high-quality products and services, and ensuring seamless kitchen operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating closely with our Executive Chef and Creative Food Director to drive menu innovation and execution
• A hands-on approach to ensure exceptional quality and consistency in all dishes
• Demonstrated success in achieving set targets on food and labour costs, driving efficiency and profitability
• Playing a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of customer satisfaction and loyalty

We're offering a highly competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, plus benefits including relocation expenses and sponsorship opportunities for the right candidate.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A genuine passion for modern cooking techniques and menu planning
• Excellent verbal communication skills, strong time management abilities, and attention to detail
• A Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or equivalent experience
• A commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences and exceeding expectations
