Payroll Officer Role Summary:


We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our Payroll team of 3 staff.


This role reports to the Payroll Manager and is responsible for end-to-end Payroll processing using several payroll systems and a time and attendance system.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Process payroll accurately and on time as per Award, Employment Contracts, and legislative requirements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing and payments of employment-related obligations, including superannuation, PAYG, payroll tax, pension, and social security.
  • Resolve queries relating to payroll across the organisation.
  • Maintain payroll processes and procedures, ensuring adequate controls are in place and adhered to.
  • Calculate and process long service leave, termination, and redundancy payments.

Requirements:



  • Experience working with a national, multi-site, award-based payroll on a high volume basis.
  • Strong team approach and great sense of humour.

This is a hands-on office-based role with opportunity to work closely with a close-knit, supportive, and fun team.
