Consultant/Specialist Rheumatologist Position

We are seeking a talented Consultant/Specialist Rheumatologist to join our accredited teaching service in Tasmania, Australia.

  • Deliver outpatient and inpatient care with opportunities for clinical service delivery, quality improvement, and medical education (UG/PG).
  • Pursue research in partnership with the University of Tasmania, taking advantage of local foundations and strong university links.
About the Role

This permanent full-time or 0.5 FTE part-time position offers flexible start dates, allowing you to align your career goals with our teaching hospital's needs.

The role requires AHPRA Specialist Registration or eligibility, or IMG on the Specialist Pathway / recognised overseas specialist qualification with sufficient experience.

Package Details

We offer an attractive package including:

  • Base salary $216,300 - $310,389
  • Private Patient Scheme up to 35% of base (or 35% in lieu)
  • Vehicle: fully maintained car or allowance (~$28,786 p.a.)
  • CPD allowance ~$16,974 p.a. + generous relocation
  • On-call allowances, salary packaging, and 12% superannuation
