Rural Health Education Coordinator

About the Role
Flinders University is seeking a dynamic leader to oversee multidisciplinary education initiatives under the Rural Health Multidisciplinary Training Program. In this vital role, you will ensure consistency, collaboration, and best practices across our Rural and Remote Health (RRH) network, working closely with Flinders RRH and College staff to enhance the student experience and strengthen the health workforce in rural communities.
You will be responsible for planning, implementing, evaluating, and reporting on key projects. This includes coordinating community engagement committees, preparing contracts, and collaborating with stakeholders to execute project work plans. Additionally, you will monitor KPIs and prepare comprehensive reports for the Flinders Rural & Remote Executive.
Your role will also involve liaising with operational staff to ensure students receive appropriate accommodation and support during their rural clinical placements. If you are passionate about making a positive impact in rural health education, we encourage you to apply.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will exhibit:
- Relevant tertiary qualification, or equivalent combination of experience and/or education and/or training
- Experience in project planning and program implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and quality assurance
- Ability to provide high-level support to specific and ad-hoc projects
- Commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture, and role modeling behaviors that support the University's Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) and commitment to enhancing educational opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
- Demonstrated relevant knowledge and management experience within a rural or remote University environment (desirable)

Flinders University Rural and Remote Health SA (FRRHSA) facilitates high-quality multidisciplinary health education and research in our State's regional areas.
We have a strong national and international reputation for providing community-engaged inter-professional training for medical, nursing, and allied health students. This includes the Doctor of Medicine Rural Stream (MDRS) program and multidisciplinary rural clinical placements.
