About the Role

The Tasmania Government is seeking a highly skilled and experienced pharmacist to lead our compounding and cancer services team at the Launceston General Hospital. As a Supervisory Pharmacist - Production, you will be responsible for managing a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to provide a safe and efficient compounding and pharmacy service to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and supervision to the compounding and cancer services pharmacy team.
  • Design and implement systems to ensure compliance with best practice and legal requirements.
  • Undertake compounding activities and contribute to the management and culture of the Pharmacy Service.
  • Support the operations of Statewide Hospital Pharmacy.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in pharmacy approved by the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
  • Registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
  • Desirable: Professional qualification or equivalent level of recognised professional competency.
