Catering Manager Position

This is a permanent full-time role available for an individual with a passion for delivering healthy, high-quality and nutritious food.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To manage the overall operations of the Catering department in line with legislation, infection control policies and the organisation's strategic direction.
  • To be responsible for food preparation for patients, staff, cafeteria and functions, ensuring a high standard in quality of Hospital food production and cleanliness within the department in line with required Food Safety Plan, relevant HACCP standards and Hospital policy.
  • To effectively meet the needs of the organisation's food services through strong time management and flexibility to work across multiple sites.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • An experienced catering professional with proven experience in large-scale culinary leadership, with hospital, medical or hotel experience being ideal for this role.
  • A keen grasp of food safety programs and the ability to manage labour and product KPIs/budgeting.
  • Experience within a catering management position, ideally within hospitals/health care, including rostering, purchasing, product specification, stock control, diet codes, recipe and computerised menu systems.
  • Food Safety Supervisor and RSA Qualifications are essential, with any Catering/Hospitality qualifications or trade qualifications as a Chef being highly regarded.
