Key Responsibilities:

The role involves assisting in the response to fire and other emergency incidents as part of a team, promoting community safety and emergency preparedness through community education activities, developing and maintaining competencies by participating in regular drills and training sessions, maintaining attendance standards for emergency incidents and training, and operating specialist firefighting and rescue equipment safely and effectively.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Employer's written consent to attend incidents and emergencies
  • Australian Permanent Resident Status
  • Manual C Class driver's licence
  • Leadership and management behavioural competencies (e.g., performance through vision, results focus)
