We are seeking a qualified and experienced trainer to join our team at Stirling Institute of Australia. As a Contract Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering dynamic training to students, supporting them through their pathway, and marking their assignments.
The Certificate III in Individual Support is one of our most popular qualifications, and our trainers play a crucial role in delivering hands-on, engaging training to students from diverse backgrounds and demographics.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver dynamic training to students, supporting them through their pathway and marking their assignments.
- Encourage students as they complete 120 hours of industry work placement, placed by Stirling's Work Placement Coordinators.
- Work towards Stirling's compliance requirements, such as completing attendance registers or supporting surveys.
- Deliver training from multiple locations across Victoria, with the possibility of training from our Craigieburn location.
- Qualifications and significant work experience in Individual Support or related industry.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116), or a willingness to upskill/gain this qualification.
- Passion to train and motivate others.
- Ability to deliver dynamic, engaging training.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- Excellent computer, email, Zoom, and internet skills.
- Drivers license and own reliable transport.
- Working with Children Check and ability to take out public liability insurance.
