About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated General Medicine Registrar/Advanced Trainee to join our team at JPS Medical Recruitment. As a key member of our medical team, you will be responsible for managing the care of patients in consultation with consultants, nurses, and allied health professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage patient care in consultation with consultants, nurses, and allied health professionals
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement activities
  • Engage in continuing education activities
  • Contribute to the development of medical policies and procedures
About the Facility

The hospital is a tertiary-level 3 teaching hospital with 400 beds and 1,700 staff. It services a population of 200,000 and is affiliated with Flinders University, with an onsite medical school. The hospital is also ACEM accredited as a major referral centre for two years of advanced emergency training.

Requirements
  • Hold or be eligible for registration with AHPRA
  • Possess at least 12 months recent experience in internal/general medicine
  • Be on RACP training program
  • IMGs eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ
  • IMGs with RACP interview date
  • IMGs assessed by RACP and found to be partially or substantially comparable
