Demanding Role for Senior Health and Safety Expert

We are seeking an experienced Senior Health and Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of the health and safety team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a large team of safety professionals to ensure continued professional growth and a 'best for alliance' approach.
Your primary objective will be to provide expert health and safety advice, support, information, and leadership to the package senior leadership team and wider alliance when required. You will also ensure all requirements within the alliance health and safety management plan, its related sub-plans, and the EBTA HSMS are implemented, maintained, and communicated by the project team.
- Manage, lead, and mentor a large team of safety professionals to ensure continued professional growth of personnel and drive a 'best for alliance' approach.
- Provide expert H&S advice, support, information, and leadership to the package SLT and wider alliance when required.
- Ensure all requirements within the alliance health and safety management plan, its related sub-plans, and the EBTA HSMS are implemented, maintained, and communicated by the project team.
Skill and Qualifications:
- More than 10 year's experience in health and safety roles with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity on major infrastructure or civil construction projects.
- Formal qualifications in workplace health and safety (diploma or bachelor's degree) with strong working knowledge of OHS legislation, codes of practice, and major project requirements.
- Proven experience developing, implementing, and managing HS systems and project-specific safety management plans in alignment with client and regulatory expectations on tier 1-2 infrastructure projects.
