As a Plant Manager, you will oversee the operations of our Crestmead site, managing everything from raw material procurement to production and dispatch. This key leadership role involves driving safety, efficiency, and team capability to deliver outstanding results for customers.

You will work closely with national and local support teams to lead strategic improvement initiatives, embed a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure systems and processes reflect industry best practice. Responsibilities:

  • Champion Safety: Lead a safety-first culture and embed Zero Harm principles.
  • Drive Performance: Execute site improvement plans aligned with business strategy.
  • Build Capability: Coach and mentor a high-performing team to enhance capability and engagement.
  • Optimise Operations: Leverage systems and technology to drive efficiency and cultural uplift.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance DIFOT performance.
  • Collaborate: Partner with internal and external stakeholders to deliver customer excellence.

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership experience in manufacturing, construction materials, or FMCG.
  • Strong people engagement and coaching capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and business acumen.
  • Experience leading large, multi-shift teams.
  • Knowledge of systems such as ERP systems (M3, M4, SAP or similar) and reporting and analysis tools (Qlik, Power BI).
  • Financial and operational decision-making capability.
  • A proactive mindset that challenges the status quo and drives innovation.
