Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - B1 Licenced

We are seeking a highly skilled B1 Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team at the Royal Flying Doctor Service. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and compliant operational performance of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support base maintenance checks as directed by senior base engineers
  • Conduct troubleshooting and rectification of line defects arising daily in the course of flight operations
  • Availability for AOG call out after hours for fleet defect rectification Queensland wide
  • Ensure compliant management, storage, and usage of tooling and GSE
  • Contribute to business improvement/quality programs and enterprise risk management activities
  • Compliance with all Occupational, Health, Safety & Welfare policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years aircraft maintenance experience
  • Proven experience with turboprop engines specific to RFDS QLD aircraft types
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to pick up new computer applications
  • Knowledge of the regulatory environment in relation to aircraft maintenance
