Lead Mental Health Practitioner

We are seeking an exceptional Mental Health Clinician to assume a clinical leadership role in our residential service.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to work with individuals requiring comprehensive mental health support services. The successful candidate will develop and implement proactive interventions to enhance the understanding of mental health issues, promote self-determination, choices and resilience, and foster opportunities for community integration and citizenship.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical guidance and oversight of mental health interventions and outcomes
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with other allied health professionals to provide choice to service users
  • Apply advanced knowledge of person-centred recovery practices
  • Deliver capacity building through education and training to non-clinical staff
Requirements:
  • Possession of tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing or Occupational Therapy
  • Eligibility for membership of a relevant professional body
  • Specialist mental health skills and experience working in a clinical setting
  • Ability to assess performance deficiencies and implement effective programs for improvement

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and take a lead role in a fast-paced environment.
