The Role

Analyse and underwrite new and renewal business, regularly interacting and facing the market, with limited supervision, utilising The Zurich Way of Underwriting Framework within delegated authority levels on assignments of moderate technical complexity ensuring a high level of service to customers.

Key to Success

  • Undergraduate degree (preferable)
  • ANZIIF CIP Member or Equivalent
  • 3 years minimum motor underwriting experience
  • Sound product and underwriting knowledge (LOB)
  • Developed insurance knowledge of commercial underwriting business, relevant Legislation and Regulations governing General Insurance.
  • Excellent communicator to all audiences
  • Ability to develop and leverage strong relationships
