Yancoal seeks a highly skilled and experienced Coal Plant Maintenance Specialist to join our team at the CHPP. As a key member of the CHPP crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate daily production reports and conduct regular inspections of the Coal Handling Prep Plant (CHPP).
  • Identify improvement opportunities and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Operate and monitor mobile equipment for ROM/Bypass and Train loading operations, including Wheel Loader, Stockpile Dozer, and Ancillary equipment.
  • Conduct pre-starts and ensure all equipment is properly maintained.
  • Participate in safety risk assessments and adhere to site SHMS - PRIDES/Hazard reporting protocols.

About the Role:

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant mechanical fitting trade qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • Current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence and Standard 11 Induction.
  • Experience maintaining industrial fixed plant and operating loaders and dozers.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Flexibility to change as priorities shift and ability to work effectively in a small team environment.
